Blizz

I had originally planned on making a post talking about comics, but something very important has come up. BLIZZCON. For those who don't know what blizzcon is, it is a convention where blizzard(Diablo, WoW, Starcraft) presents what is to come in the next year. Diablo 3 looked amazing, and Heart of the swarm looked good too. Here is where I get angry. World of Warcraft is going to be having a new expansion. The Mists of Pandaria. The abomination, yes abomination, that is this expansion is great. Below is the trailer. I will continue my rant afterwards.

Ok, so... seriously right? Pandaren have been an in-house joke at Blizzard, but come on, to seriously put this in the game that people pay good money for. I almost wonder if Kung-fu Panda approached Blizzard and asked to include them. But seriously, that aside, Pandaria is this beautiful asia-like continent. WAIT!?BEAUTIFUL?, how can this be? Didn't Deathwing come and break the world, how is it Pandaria has escaped untouched. I feel like this will just alienate all the die-hard players(like myself) who have been playing since Vanilla, and they will buy it because of the level cap, but hate it. On a final note to Blizzard. Why make a race that can be Horde or Alliance. That is ridiculous to me. Give this Panda to the Alliance and give the Horde something good. FOR THE HORDE!

WHAt!? Already another one?

Well, I didn't want to leave you people with just an intro, so, my very first real post!(exciting). This post will be dedicated to my recent supreme obsession. Warhammer 40k. I've been playing for about a year but have only had my own army for a bit over a month. This was the game I had been wanting my whole life and just never knew about. I have a Dark Eldar army, so if you know what they are, you know what kind of person I am haha, and if you don't well, you will be able to figure that out with the aid of wikipedia(or Lexicanum) or by reading my future blogs. This is pretty much a table-top war. It is an incredibly fun, multi-faceted expensive(...my wallet cries sometimes) hobby. I am lucky enough to live in a city with a bunch of hobby shops as well as an amazing Sci-Fi and fantasy club at my College. Well, this has kind of been essentially me, going, OMG I love it!, but I feel that it is a great hobby but it isn't for everyone, it isn't cheap, and it sucks up pretty much most of your free time. So for people that are in short supply of these things, I suggest getting a sugar daddy(or mommy) and having them get it for you because it is just that great.

So, I am off to go and stare at my miniatures and fantasize about the ultimate carnage they will leave in their path as they gut the Imperium.

Intro

Hey everyone,
Well, I was convinced by some people that I should make a blog about stuff I like and about me. So... TA DA! This is pretty much going to me talking about things I like, the way I feel about them and how I want to get more into them. I will also attempt to write as often as possible.

I recently got into Warhammer 40k, Comics, and other things like that. I never had any really geeky friends growing up, so I never really had the chance to introduce myself to the beautiful world that is out there. The friends I did have were primarily into Video Games where my deepest passions also lie. I have a dream that one day I will collect all the video gaming systems out there, including many arcade machines, because I find retro-gaming to be inexhaustibly fun. I have very strong views on video games and the consoles that play them. I also grew up watching all those amazing DC and Marvel cartoons while growing up and to this day have a love for Spider-Man and the X-Men, as well as Batman. Anyways that pretty much my introduction to my blog hope you don't hate it and well... enjoy.
